2) Robert Hazard
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Robert Hazard, a songwriter and musician from Philadelphia who wrote the 1983 Cyndi Lauper hit "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," died Tuesday. He was 59.
3) Frank H. Delaplane
RENO, Nev. (AP) — Frank H. Delaplane, former news editor for the Gannett News Service who also worked for newspapers in San Francisco and Reno, has died. He was 79.
4) Nicola Rescigno
DALLAS (AP) - The co-founder of the Dallas Opera has died at a hospital in Viterbo, Italy. Nicola Rescigno was 92.
5) Robert Montgomery Jr.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Palm Beach attorney Robert Montgomery Jr., who represented the state of Florida in a landmark lawsuit against tobacco companies, has died. He was 78.
6) Lou Teicher
SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — Lou Teicher, one half of a duo that produced and performed popular theatrical recordings of big Hollywood movie themes, as died. He was 83.
7) Aurelius H. Piper Sr.
TRUMBULL, Conn. (AP) — Aurelius H. Piper Sr., hereditary chief of the Golden Hill Paugussett Indian Tribe, died Sunday. He was 92.
8) John F. Seiberling
COPLEY, Ohio (AP) - Former Rep. John F. Seiberling, who served on the committee that led impeachment hearings against President Richard Nixon and laid the groundwork for Ohio's only national park, died Saturday. He was 89.
9) Otto Fuerbringer
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Otto Fuerbringer, who was Time magazine's managing editor during the turbulent 1960s when it famously asked: "Is God Dead?" on the cover and switched to opposing the Vietnam War, has died. He was 97.
10) Dr. Julius Richmond
BOSTON (AP) - Dr. Julius Richmond, the U.S. surgeon general in the Carter administration who issued a massive report labeling cigarette smoking "slow-motion suicide," has died. He was 91.
